Ironweed Bluegrass Band

IRONWEED (pickum singum excellentis) is a BLUEGRASS BAND from Columbia, Missouri formed in 1994. Some folks around here say there are strong similarities between the band and the wildflower. The IRONWEED BLUEGRASS BAND has developed a long, strong suit of hard-drivin' traditional and non-traditional bluegrass tunes. And when the folks want to dance, they can play some nice waltzes and two-steps, too. Their pickin' is awfully good -- and some will tell you that the singing is even better. This is a band to see, hear, and enjoy -- live!

Searching

Picture
Josh Lardizabal has been with the band since their First Night performance, his first “live” gig.
Nick Schlude has been playing with Searching for about a year. He plays piano and synthesizer and also sings one of the bands favorite tunes, Me and my Gang by Rascal Flatts.
Michael Hamilton has been playing the guitar since birth. He wrote his first original song with his sister when he was 7 years old. Michael is an original member of the band Searching and has contributed many original tunes to the band’s song list.
Joshua Warden has been a drummer since the age of 2. He has performed at First Night, Garage Band Festival and most recently at the Family Fun Night.
Samuel Luetkemeyer is a self-taught piano player who likes jazz and is a not-so-secret Elvis Presley fan.
Silas Luetkemeyer is new to the music world, and loves being a vocalist of a band. He likes every kind of music except metal.

Andy Tellman

Picture
Andy Tellman is a multi-instrumentalist from a small farm town in mid-Missouri where he began performing anywhere from talent shows to churches. He started out as a drummer and began writing songs as a creative outlet to convey ideas that couldn’t be expressed from behind the kit.

He is currently recording his new single, “You Are Loved,” which will be followed by many more.

Andy is a versatile musician who has taken on roles from metal drummer to a worship leader. He hopes his music is a direct representation of who he is not only as an artist but also as a person.

“I hope it touches someone’s life and leaves a positive imprint,” he says.

Andy performs as a solo acoustic act or a full ensemble depending on the needs of the venue, but one thing remains the same: he performs with the same heart and message whether he’s playing for two or 1,000.

“If music isn’t fun and you don’t mean it, then why do it?” -Andy

Justin Dean Collins

Picture
5 p.m. Friday, July 27
I'm Justin Dean Collins. I started taking my music seriously after the EF5 tornado that ripped through my hometown of Joplin, Missouri on May 22nd, 2011. Since then, I have played several shows and shared the stage with the likes of Last Chance Casanova, Victory Records recording artists These Hearts, 80s pop star Tiffany, Story Of A Ghost, and several several other great acts. I write the music that i would love to hear and it seems others seem to like it too! So please, give me a like and help spread the love. If it wasn't for all of you, none of this would be possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I love you all ♥

Never Blue Avenue

Picture
Never Blue Avenue started in 2008 with just four guys in a small town just wanting to play music. Meeting each other through different bands Mark Loeber (guitar) and Josh Higgins (vocals/guitar) played together in a band called To End October. Then, To End October broke up in late 2007, but Mark and Josh wanted to continue to play music together. So many phone calls later they hooked up with Mike Ellis (bass) and Shaq Golden(drums) in early 2008. Together the band played shows to little coffee "shacks" and even a few local headlining shows. In the late fall of 2008, Mike Ellis left the band to pursue his Education. Without a bass player and many shows already booked, they found Tyler Frans who had been playing with the worship band that Mark and Shaq had been playing with for a few years at Cafe 41. With a new bass player Never Blue Avenue was ready to continue what they had started. Within a few months, they recorded their first EP, Misleading At Most, with engineer, Shawn Ames in his basement. Still trying to venture out of the local music scene, they went to Chapman Recording Studio with producer Ben Cybulsky in Kansas City, Missouri. Today our full length album, Relations is finished and up for purchase.

Band members: Josh Higgins - Rythm Guitar, Lead Vocalist, Mark Loeber - Lead Guitar, Back-up Vocals -Shaq Golden - Drums -Tyler Frans - Bass, Back-up Vocals
